Vascular surgery

We can now offer a full range of surgeries for our patient with the highest level of safety.

In line with our epidemiological procedure, to undergo surgery you first need to present a negative PCR test. This test can be completed at RMC.

We have implemented a strict procedure at the clinic in light of the epidemic. You can find more information about this at the link below. More >>

Varicose vein treatments:

  • Injection treatment (sclerotherapy): Can be used as a permanent solution for varicose dilatation. During this injection therapy, a medication is injected into the vein that causes the inner layer to shed. This causes the walls of the vein to adhere to each other and form scar tissue. This treatment is quick, simple, can be done on an outpatient basis, and has visible results. The procedure is mainly suitable for dilatations with a smaller diameter (spider veins, network of varicose veins).
  • Foam injection treatment: We can also treat especially large –sized varicose veins using an injection method by creating foam from the medication prior to injecting it. Foaming significantly increases the effect of the medication and can be used to treat varicose vein trunks and significantly dilatated side branches as well as inlet sections. The advantage of injection procedures is that there is no cutting or surgical incision, so there are no scars remaining on the legs.
  • Varicose vein surgery: During surgical treatment of varicose veins, we remove the veins using scarcely detectable tiny punctures.
