He was born and raised in Budapest. Upon completing his medical degree and PhD at Semmelweis University Medical School, he went on to complete his Hungarian residency at the Medical School.
Dr. Bodó completed a second residency at the Department of Internal Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. Thereafter, he completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Washington University Medical School, St. Louis, MO.
He is published in prestigious American medical journals (such as the New England Journal of Medicine) and, in addition to his practice at Rózsakert, he teaches and runs a Molecular Hematology Laboratory at Semmelweis University Medical School. He is fluent in English and German.
Dr. Bodó is board certified in both Hematology/Oncology and Internal Medicine in the US and Hungary. He works in the U.S.A.
He is married and has two daughters.
