Dr Sütő graduated summa cum laude from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Pécs. Between 1995 and 2007, he gained specializations in internal medicine, diabetology, gastroenterology, immunology and rheumatology. After completing his medical degree, he worked at the PTE ÁOK No. I Internal Medicine Clinic. He then worked as a researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, in the United States. He returned to Hungary and became the deputy director of the PTE ÁOK Rheumatology and Immunology Clinic. Since 2017, he has been the chief medical officer of the PTE KK No.2 Internal Medicine and Nephrology and Diabetology Center. He is a member of the Hungarian Society of Immunology, the Hungarian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergology, and a member of the board and deputy secretary general of the Hungarian Association of Rheumatologists. He is the author of numerous publications, publications and book chapters and speaks regularly at professional congresses.
Dr Gábor Sütő also writes a personal blog on immunology and rheumatology, Nekem Szól! (It's For Me!), which won a special award in 2017.
