Dr Katona completed his degree at the Faculty of General Medicine at Semmelweis University. He then completed specializations in internal medicine in 2013 and cardiology in 2017. He has been a clinical specialist in the 3rd Clinic of Internal Medicine of Semmelweis University since 2013. He is currently completing a Ph.D. at the Theoretical Doctoral School.
He is a member of the Hungarian Society Of Cardiology, the Hungarian Society Of Hypertension and the Hungarian Society Of Nephrology. His scientific fields of interest include internal medicine, heart failure and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
Dr Katona speaks Hungarian, English and German. In his free time he enjoys sports (kayaking, canoeing), hiking and reading.
