She was born and raised in Hungary. She graduated from the University of Pécs Medical School, where she ranked 1st in her class of 240 twice during the 6 years.
Dr. Bodnár became Board Certified in Internal Medicine in Hungary in 1993. She completed an Internal Medicine residency training at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan in 1997, and became US board certified in internal medicine. She practiced at Samaritan Hospital in Washington State for 4 years, where she was appointed Chief of Medicine and Medical Director of the ICU for a period of two years. Needless to say, she is fluent in English. She was the medical director of Rózsakert Medical Center between 2003 and 2013.
She enjoys playing tennis, running, cooking and jazz.
