Dr András Weidner completed his general medical degree at Semmelweis University in 1999. Dr Weidner's main field of interest has been fetal medicine ever since he was a student. At the Hungarian Scientific Student Conference, he examined the relationship between placental abruption and a tendency for thrombosis, winning first prize for his presentation. He completed his medical training at the No.2 Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic. He also worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Ferenc Jahn Hospital in South Pest.
In recognition of his professional work, he was appointed senior physician and then chief physician. In addition to obtaining the state-recognized ultrasound license exam, he also has MSZNUT and FMF ultrasound accreditation. He is constantly educating himself, and has participated in many conferences and trainings at home and abroad. He is a member of the Hungarian Gynecological Society, the Hungarian Obstetrics and Gynecology Ultrasound Society, and the International Obstetrics and Gynecology Ultrasound Society.
Dr Weidner speaks Hungarian, English, French and Russian.
