I decided to become a doctor when I was a young child. The beauty of medicine was tempting but the possibility of helping others was even more attracting.

I was interested in several different areas during my university years, but I chose internal medicine after getting my diploma because I found this area the most diversified, classical medicine: the doctor examines the patient in its entirety and also puts an emphasis on prevention. I tried to acquire as much experience as possible therefor I worked at several different departments in the past: general internal medicine, diabetology, gastroenterology, cardiology, and even emergency medicine.

After the professional exam I started working as an internist to widen my previously obtained experience and knowledge. I follow the lead of professional recommendations in patient’s care but I try to personalize them in case of examinations and planning based on the individual needs of the patients – in my opinion, healing is always the result of the doctor’s and the patient’s common effort.
